IPL 2021: DC add Shams Mulani as short-term replacement for Axar Patel, Anirudha Joshi in for Shreyas Iyer

IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals have added spinners Shams Mulani and Anirudha Joshi in their squad as replacements for Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer, respectively.

Delhi Capitals on Thursday added two new players in their squad as replacements for Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer for the Indian Premier League 2021, the franchise confirmed. Shams Mulani, 24, has been roped in as a short-term replacement for Axar, who is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 before IPL 2021. Mulani is a left-arm spinner who has played 10 first-class games for Mumbai. Meanwhile, right-arm off-spinner Anirudha Joshi has been brought in as a replacement for Shreyas Iyer, who was ruled out of the tournament with a shoulder injury that he suffered in the first ODI against England in March.
