IPL 2021: Being Sanju Samson will be good enough - RR Captain on comparisons with MS Dhoni
India Today
IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson has said that nobody according to him can become MS Dhoni and that he would like to be himself. The wicketkeeper-batsman will lead RR for the first time in IPL on April 12 against Punjab Kings.
Rajasthan Royals' newly-appointed captain Sanju Samson has reckoned that no one can be like legendary Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni. Responding to his comparisons with Dhoni, the 26-year-old added that being "Sanju Samson was good enough". The wicketkeeper-batsman has been time and again compared with the former India skipper for his attacking form of cricket and calm demeanour. The comparisons, last year, gained momentum after Samson played some blistering innings in the starting few matches of the 2008 champions. What an absolutely incredible win for @rajasthanroyals ! I’ve known @iamSanjuSamson for a decade & told him when he was 14 that he would one day be the next MS Dhoni. Well, that day is here. After his two amazing innings in this IPL you know a world class player has arrived.More Related News
