Australian players, supports staff, coaches, match officials and commentators have been 'safely transported' from India and are on their way to the Maldives, CA confirmed on Thursday. IPL 2021 was postponed on Tuesday in the wake of second wave of Covid-19 in India.
A day after the postponement of IPL 2021 due to the coronavirus crisis in India, stranded Australians involved in the tournament have been "safely transported" to the Maldives, Cricket Australia confirmed on Thursday.
