If you are an Android user and wish to enter the Apple ecosystem without burning your pocket, the iPhone SE (2020) is a decent option to consider if you can settle for a smaller screen.
Apple unveiled the iPhone SE third generation or the iPhone SE (2022) earlier this month. Since the launch, the Cupertino-based tech giant is constantly dropping the price of the second-generation iPhone SE. The latest price cut is available on Flipkart.
Officially, Apple has discontinued the iPhone SE (2020) in India as well as the global market. The iPhone model is no longer listed on the Apple online store and has been replaced with the third generation of the iPhone SE.
Flipkart is selling select iPhone SE (2020) colour options at a discounted price. As per the listing, only the red colour option of the iPhone SE 128GB storage model is available at a discounted price of Rs 26,499.
The offer is inclusive of a 10 percent instant discount, up to Rs 1,500, on shopping with Citi bank credit and debit cards. Additionally, if you are shopping with a Citi credit card or opting for the EMI option, you get a Rs 500 extra flat discount, which brings down to the price of Rs 25,999. This is the lowest ever price that the iPhone SE (2020) 128GB model has been available at since its launch.
On the weekend, the black colour of the iPhone SE 64GB storage model was available at a discounted price of Rs 24,499 but only for a limited period. The deal is no longer available, possibly because of the increasing demand. Considering the demand, it could be possible that Flipkart will bring back the deal again very soon.
Other colour options for the iPhone SE (2020) 64GB and 128GB models are comparatively available at a higher price. The 64GB model in white and red is available at Rs 29,999 while the 128GB storage model in black and white is available at Rs 34,999. The top-end model with a 256GB storage model in all three colours is available at Rs 44,999. The Citi bank 10 percent instant discount is available for all models and colour options. Flipkart is offering up to Rs 13,000 exchange offer as well, but the final value depends on the condition of your smartphone.
So, if you are an Android user and wish to enter the Apple ecosystem without burning your pocket, the iPhone SE (2020) is a decent option to consider if you can settle for a smaller screen. It offers a 4.7-inch display, an A13 Bionic chipset out-of-the-box, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 7-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies.
