iPhone 13 series to reportedly have bigger batteries than those on iPhone 12 models
India Today
iPhone 13 series is going to have four phones, just like last year, and all of them may have better batteries.
iPhone 13 series is going to be better than the iPhone 12 series, and just to iterate, we have several rumours that point to one or the other thing about the upcoming iPhone models. A new one coming straight from China, the entire 2021 iPhone line-up, will have bigger batteries than the ones inside the iPhone 12 series. Now, the bumps in the battery capacity are kind of necessary, at least for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, because they are highly likely to come with 120Hz ProMotion OLED displays, and those kinds of displays will consume more power. A tipster took to China’s Weibo to share what looks like a specifications sheet for this year’s iPhone models. According to that, the iPhone 13 mini will pack a 2406mAh battery, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro will come with a 3095mAh battery, and, finally, the highest-end iPhone 13 Pro Max will feature a 4352mAh battery. These are significant upgrades over what last year’s iPhone 12 series had. The iPhone 12 mini has a 2227mAh battery, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have a 2815mAh battery each, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max packs a 3687mAh battery. The biggest jump here is on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is around 18 per cent over the battery capacity of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 are going to see a nearly 10 per cent increase in the battery capacity compared to the prequels, while the iPhone 13 mini is going to have the least, at just 8 per cent. That makes sense because the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 are not likely to get high refresh rates on the display, which is one of the reasons phones need bigger batteries to maintain the backup.More Related News
