A picture of a Dabeli Fondue has surfaced online and has triggered an array of reactions from netizens. While dabeli is a Gujarati delicacy, fondue is a Swiss melted cheese dish.
If you are an avid social media user, you might have come across some bizarre food combinations. Just a few days back, we witnessed a shocking experiment known as the Butter Chicken Ice Cream. Well now, the latest dish to spread on the internet is Dabeli Fondue. Yes, you read that right. It is an amalgamation of Gujarati delicacy dabeli with Swiss touches and netizens have a lot to say about it.
The post featuring a picture of the Dabeli Fondue was shared on Twitter by a user named Kunal Sawardekar. It showed a bowl full of spicy curry instead of the typical melted cheese container. Instead of some exotic bread, the curry was served with our humble pav cut into bite-sized pieces. Also, the spicy curry was topped with peanuts.
While dabeli is a famous snack in Gujarat, fondue is a Swiss melted cheese dish.
