Several parts of Pune witnessed heavy rainfall on Sunday, while many areas were water-logged, leading to traffic snarls, power cuts, bringing life to a standstill.
Heavy rains lashed Pune city and adjoining areas on Sunday, leaving 25 spots water-logged, an official told PTI.

Trees were uprooted in at least 10 places, however there were no reports of any injuries, he added.
IMD has predicted that the rainfall activity is likely to increase in Maharashtra and will continue till September 14.
"A well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral & adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts now lies as a Depression over south Odisha. It is likely to move west-northwestwards across south Odisha and south Chhattisgarh during next 24 hours and weaken gradually," the IMD said in a bulletin.
