According to the Antigua and Barbuda government, an intelligence report on fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi going missing has been tabled before the cabinet.
An intelligence report regarding fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi going missing from Antigua and Barbuda and the mysterious girl with him at the time has been tabled before the country’s cabinet. Choksi, who is the main accused in the Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case, settled in Antigua and Barbuda when he left India in January 2018. He went missing in the last week of May and was arrested in Dominica on May 26. Choksi’s lawyers have claimed he was abducted on May 23 from Antigua by people with 'links to India' in collaboration with Antiguan officials. They said he was beaten up, tortured and taken to Dominica in a vessel where he was arrested. The mysterious girl with him, according to Choksi’s lawyers, was a part of the team involved in his abduction.More Related News
