Inland Waterways Authority of India signs MoU for setting up ‘Ship Repair Facility’ at Pandu in Guwahati

The facility is expected to bolster waterways connectivity to facilitate large movement of large cargo to and from the region.

To provide a major boost to the economic growth in the North-Eastern region, the Union government will set up a new ‘Ship Repair Facility’ at Pandu in Guwahati. The Inland Water Authority of India and Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited on Thursday signed an MoU for setting up the new ‘Ship Repair Facility’ at Pandu.
