The INICET exam for PG medical entrance is set to be postponed by ‘at least a month’ after a Supreme Court hearing today. The National Medical Council told SC that further delay would lead to logistical problems. The Supreme Court had asked the National Medical Council and the centre to decide by 12:30 pm today why the INICET exam held for entrance to postgraduate medical courses cannot be postponed. INICET is the entrance exam held for entry to around 800 seats in 12 institutions of excellence, including 5 AIIMS, 2 PGIs, GIPMER and NIMHANS. Initially the exam was scheduled for May, but has now been rescheduled to June 16.More Related News
