Democrats are wrong to argue that Sen. Joe Manchin's opposition to the nomination of Neera Tanden to head the Office of Management and Budget stems from bigotry, Laura Ingraham said Wednesday.
Ingraham played several clips in which cable news hosts alleged that the West Virginia Democrat's opposition to Tanden is because she is a woman and a person of color "Why not just defend the nomination on substantive grounds?" Ingraham asked. "I can tell you why. Because Tanden's qualifications are really flimsy, that's why. Raising money for left-wing causes and attacking Republicans on the internet hardly qualifies you to run the Office of Management and Budget."
