Consumer prices in the United States posted their strongest jump in more than eight years in March, as more Americans get vaccinated against COVID-19 and the economy reaps the benefits of the government’s massive $1.9 trillion virus relief aid package. The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Tuesday that its Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers rose 0.6 percent last month, after rising 0.4 percent in February.
