Indore: Man attacks shopkeeper's son for refusing Rs 500, police launch probe

A shopkeeper's son was attacked in his shop near Choithram vegetable market in Indore when he refused to pay money to an unidentified man, who barged into the shop and demanded Rs 500 to consume alcohol.
According to Nand Kishore Gupta, who runs Sanchi milk parlour near Choithram vegetable market, his son Rohit was attending to customers when the unidentified man came to the shop and demanded money to buy alcohol. When Rohit turned down his request, the man allegedly attacked him with a sword and vandalised the shop, said Gupta in his police complaint.Deputy commissioner of police Amit Tolani said they are scanning footage from the CCTV cameras installed near the shop to identify the suspect and that police have detained a few people for questioning in the case. "Further investigation is underway," said the officer.
