Indo-Ukrainian couple hosts wedding reception in Hyderabad. See pics

Prateek and beau Lyubov from Ukraine hosted their wedding reception in Hyderabad. CS Rangarajan, the chief priest of the Chilkur Balaji temple, attended the wedding and blessed the newlyweds. The temple is also known as the 'Visa Balaji' temple.

Newlyweds Prateek and Lyubov’s love story is straight out of some Bollywood film. The Indo-Ukrainian couple tied the knot in Ukraine and decided to host their wedding reception in India. Just a day after the couple landed in India to host their reception party, Russia invaded Ukraine.

Nevertheless, the couple did not let the warfare affect their wedding celebration. Malikarjun Rao and Padmaja's son Prateek and beau Lyubov from Ukraine hosted their wedding reception in Hyderabad.

CS Rangarajan, the chief priest of the Chilkur Balaji temple, attended the wedding and blessed the newlyweds. Rangarajan said that he is praying that the war ends soon. Chilkur Balaji temple is also known as the 'Visa Balaji' temple.

“This war has brought bloodshed, turmoil worldwide and impacting the Covid-19 devastated world further,” priest Rangarajan said.

Prateek and Lyubov’s wedding reception was held in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Chilkur priests along with some devotees of Lord Balaji offered prayers at the 16th century Venkateshwara shrine seeking an end to the Russian aggression over Ukraine and for the restoration of peace.
