An Indigo flight at Jharkhand's Birsa Munda airport developed a technical snag, forcing it to return to the bay. In what could have been a major mishap, the air conditioner on the flight started to spark, causing a panic among the passengers.
The Kolkata-bound plane was just about to take off when a technical snag was reported. The flight was brought back to bay, the airport director Vinod Sharma told India Today TV.
The refund process for the passengers has been initiated. Though, it is not clear if the flight will resume again in the afternoon.
Moreover, the passengers had a verbal spat with the crew onboard as, reportedly, the doors of the plane were not opened for nearly 20 minutes after the incident.
