Indian national shot by Nepal Police while another goes missing, UP Police on watch as tension grips Pilibhit

An Indian national died after suffering bullet injuries during a confrontation with the Nepal Police after he had gone to the other side of the Indo-Nepal border with two other men.

An Indian national died after suffering bullet injuries during a confrontation with the Nepal Police after he had gone to the other side of the Indo-Nepal border with two other men. Three Indian nationals had entered Nepal and engaged in a confrontation with Nepal Police regarding some matter, said SP Pilibhit. SP Jai Prakash further said that one of the three men suffered bullet injuries and died while another has gone missing. The third man has returned to the Indian side. The officer said that the situation is being monitored by UP Police along with the border police forces.
