The Indian Embassy in Washington, DC paid tribute to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his 153rd birth anniversary at the Gandhi Memorial Center.
"Embassy of India, Washington, DC paid a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the Gandhi Memorial Center there, celebrating his birth anniversary on October 2nd," ANI news agency tweeted.

Floral tributes were paid at several installations of Gandhi’s statue including in New York, San Francisco and Houston.
