With the situation escalating in Ukraine, the Indian embassy advised its citizens and students to leave Ukraine temporarily. Parents are now worried and want their children to be brought back safely.
The Indian embassy on Tuesday advised its citizens in Ukraine to temporarily leave that country amid escalating tension between Russia and NATO countries over the eastern European nation, including the possibility of Russia invading on February 16 as per certain Western media reports.
Indian nationals have also been requested to keep the embassy informed about their status in Ukraine so that they could be reached out to whenever required. The US and its Western allies have been severely critical of Russia over its continuing build-up of forces near the Ukraine border.
Parents of Indian students studying in Ukraine have become increasingly worried because of the current situation and parents in Vadodara spoke to India Today about wanting their children to be brought back safely.
