Indian Navy launches its new large survey vessel 'Sandhayak' in Kolkata

The Indian Navy launched its new large survey vessel 'Sandhayak' in Kolkata on Sunday.

The Indian Navy launched 'Sandhayak', the first of the four large survey vessels, in Kolkata on Sunday. Sandhayak and her three other sister ships are scheduled to be delivered between Oct 22 and Jan 24, thus enhancing the hydrographic and oceanographic survey capabilities of #IndianNavy (3/3).#

The ship was launched by Pushpa Bhatt, spouse of Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt, who was the Chief Guest at the event.
