India vs Sri Lanka: Virat Kohli's wait for his 71st international century continues as the star India batter departed for 45 in his 100th Test in Mohali.
Virat Kohli's wait for his 71st international century continued as Sri Lanka spinner Lasith Embuldeniya castled the former India captain for 45 in his 100th Test in Mohali. It needed a special delivery to get Kohli in Mohali and Embuldeniya produced just that. Kohli stood there in disbelief before making the long walk back.
It was a fuller ball around the middle and turned away towards the off pole. Kohli tried to defend this, but he got beaten past the outside edge as the ball spun away from him and knocked the off stump. The crowd was stunned but gathered themselves quickly to applaud Virat Kohli off the field.
