India vs New Zealand: Turn from Day 2 on Kanpur pitch, no instruction from team management - Curator

India vs New Zealand, 1st Test: Kanpur pitch curator Shiv Kumar said on Wednesday that he did not receive any instruction from the Indian team management for a rank-turner for the series opener.

Green Park pitch curator Shiv Kumar said the pitch for the first Test between India and New Zealand may lack grass but won't show ready signs of wear and tear.

There has been instances when instructions about certain specific types of pitches had come from the team management but Kumar said that this time neither coach Rahul Dravid nor skipper Ajinkya Rahane had any specific demands, as reported by the Press Trust of India.
