India vs New Zealand: Veteran India batter Robin Uthappa believes Suryakumar Yadav batting lower down the order at No.4 or 5 would help Rishabh Pant in finishing matches.
Veteran opener Robin Uthappa believes Surykumar Yadav should bat lower down the order at number 4 or five to provide explosive wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant much-needed support in the end to finish matches. Uthappa pointed out that Suryakumar Yadav is a versatile batsman with many shots in his armoury.
Notably, Suryakumar came to bat at No.3 and hit a match-winning 62 in just 40 balls against New Zealand in the T20I series opener in Jaipur. Suryakumar hit 3 sixes and 6 boundaries as he never allowed the New Zealand bowlers to settle down in the middle-overs.
