India vs New Zealand: Test cricket returns to Wankhede Stadium after a gap of nearly five years and India will be aiming for their third consecutive win at the venue that will help them win the two-Test series 1-0.
Test cricket finally returns to the Wankhede Stadium after a gap of nearly five years when India face New Zealand in the second and final match of the series. It is only the third time that the two teams will play each other in a Test match at the venue.
India last played a Test at the Wankhede Stadium in December 2016. They won the match by an innings and 36 runs with captain Virat Kohli scoring an imperious 235 off 340 balls. Kohli was on overdrive in that period and this was the third of four centuries he scored in eight Tests.
