India's warm-up match ended in a tame draw against Leicestershire, in Leicester on Sunday. India failed to take quick wickets on Day 4 as the hosts reached 219 for four in 66 overs.
Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and R Ashwin did shine as India managed to make the most of their four-day practice match against Leicestershire before it ended in a draw at Grace Road on Sunday.
India set Leicestershire a 367-run target to win the warm-up fixture after declaring on their overnight total of 364 for seven. Half-centuries by Ravindra Jadeja (56*), Shreyas Iyer (62) and Virat Kohli (67) helped India set a target of 367 runs.

Chasing 367, Leicestershire reached 219 for four in 66 overs as Kimber (58*) and Evison (15*) remained unbeaten. India received a major setback in the early morning hours of Sunday as captain Rohit Sharma tested positive for Covid-19; the BCCI confirmed the development on their official Twitter account, stating that the skipper had tested positive for the virus in the Rapid Antigen Test on Saturday.
