India vs England: Former India batsman VVS Laxman has suggested that young Ishan Kishan should open and KL Rahul should be dropped from the 4th T20I to include an extra bowler in the playing XI.
Former India batsman VVS Laxman has suggested that young Ishan Kishan should open the batting with Rohit Sharma and that KL Rahul should be dropped to bring in an extra bowler in the playing XI for 4th T20I against England in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Notably, KL Rahul has opened in all the 3 T20Is of the series and failed with scores of 1, 0 and 0. He was castled twice, while in the 2nd match, Sam Curran got him caught behind the wickets. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan is the only opener to score a fifty for the hosts in the series. He was sent down at three after Rohit Sharma returned to open with Rahul in Tuesday's encounter which India lost by 8 wickets. With India trailing 1-2 in the 5-match series, VVS Laxman wants the management to send the best possible combination in the middle.More Related News
