India vs England: Not convinced that Krunal Pandya can be a regular 10-over bowler for India, says VVS Laxman
India Today
Former India batsman VVS Laxman feels that the team needs to have a look at its ODI combination as Krunal Pandya does not seem to be the bowler who can give the team 10 overs in a match.
All-rounder Krunal Pandya made a dream ODI debut when he scored a 26-ball fifty in the first match against England. It was the fastest fifty by an Indian on debut as the team piled on over 300 runs and eventually went on to win the match by 66 runs. Krunal also bowled his full quota of 10 overs in the match and conceded 59 runs while taking his maiden wicket of Sam Curran. However, in the second match against England on Friday, the bowler was attacked by the duo of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes and ended up conceding 72 runs in just 6 overs at an economy of 12. He did not get any wickets in the match and was hit for 6 sixes by the two batsmen.More Related News
