The team dictated the proceedings in the opening session of the day with Mark Wood inflicting some early damage in the Indian camp.  India were batting at 56/3 at Lunch and have a slender lead of 29 runs. Both the batsmen were India's leading run-scorers from the first-inning with the former slamming a ton. Rohit, on the other hand, stood second-best from the Indian camp in the list of individual top-scorers.
