India vs England, 2nd ODI Playing XI prediction: While injured Shreyas Iyer is likely to make way for Suryakumar Yadav, vice-captain Rohit Sharma is expected to play on Friday in Pune despite having taken a nasty hit on his right elbow.
India will be looking to seal an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the ongoing 3-match series when they face England in the 2nd ODI at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Friday. Virat Kohli's men have sealed a rare early advantage and they will be hoping to make full use of it. However, Team India have been dealt a major blow as in-form Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the remainder of the series with a partially dislocated shoulder. India Today has learnt that Iyer is unlikely to take part in Indian Premier League 2021 as he is expected to be on the sidelines for 4-5 months. India have a problem of plenty as they look to replace Shreyas Iyer in the side. While it is likely that Suryakumar Yadav will make his ODI debut on Friday, India also have the option of playing Rishabh Pant in the middle-order. Suryakumar was in fine form in the T20I series wherein he hit a fifty on debut.More Related News
