Former cricketer-turned-commentator Deep Dasgupta said he would pick Suryakumar Yadav ahead of Shreyas Iyer in the Indian team for the series-opening T20 international against England in Ahmedabad. Suryakumar has been a consistent performer for Mumbai Indians in the last few years and played a key role in the Rohit Sharma-led side's 5th Indian Premier League title triumph last year. He was rewarded for his exploits in IPL 2020 with a maiden international call-up to the Indian side for the upcoming 5 T20Is against England.
