India tour of Sri Lanka: India did a great job by appointing Rahul Dravid as U-19 coach, says Aravinda De Silva

Former Sri Lanka batsman Aravinda De Silva feels that Indian cricket has enormously benefited from having Rahul Dravid as the U-19 coach. Dravid is the head coach of Shikhar Dhawan-led Indian team that will play 3 ODIs and as many T20Is against Sri Lanka, starting July 13.

Former Sri Lanka captain and legendary batsman Aravinda De Silva has heaped praise on Rahul Dravid and said India did a great job by appointing him as U-19 coach. "The U-19 stage is where the foundation is. And if you lay the foundation right, it becomes so much easier to progress from thereon because that's where I feel you'll be able to learn about the necessary discipline, knowledge and strategy and related matters," de Silva was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.
