India tour of South Africa: Don’t know what will happen to Hanuma Vihari, says Dinesh Karthik

Veteran Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik said that he doesn’t know what will happen to Hanuma Vihari’s place in the Indian Test team.

Senior wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik said that Hanuma Vihari's place in India’s squad for the South Africa Test tour is quite doubtful after he was dropped from the Test series against New Zealand. Vihari was not included in the Indian squad for the home Test series against New Zealand and was sent to South Africa to play for the India A team.

While playing for India A, Vihari scored 151 runs at a stunning average of 75.50 against South Africa A in the two unofficial Tests. Karthik said that almost all batters have been performing well enough, so it has to be seen how the Indian team management fits Vihari in the squad. Vihari was part of India's squad for the England Test tour but did not make it to the playing XI.
