A 14-year-old girl from India, Vinisha Umashankar, has been applauded for her solar-powered street ironing cart design and was called at COP26 in Glasgow by Prince William to speak
Vinisha Umashankar, a 14-year-old girl from India, was invited by Prince William to speak at a meeting discussing clean technology and innovation at the climate conference. A finalist from Prince William's Earthshot Prize -- a global prize for work supporting the environment -- urged the young generation to stop complaining and start doing it, at COP26 in Glasgow. Thank you @AlexWEllis for hosting the wonderful celebratory event. I was happy to meet @EarthshotPrize winner @VidyutMohan of @BiomassTakachar. By working together, India and UK can lead the world on several environmental issues such as the climate change and global warming. https://t.co/1aqgcEogCE
