India qualified for the semi-finals of the Under-19 World Cup after a 65-run seventh wicket stand between Raj Bawa and Kaushal Tambe helped them chase down a target of 260 set by Afghanistan on Monday. India won the match by four wickets with 10 balls to spare.
Bawa finished the match unbeaten on 43 off 55 balls, following up his 1/66 during the Afghanistan innings, while Tamble finished on 35 off 29. Earlier, opener Harnoor Singh scored 65 off 74 balls as part of a 104-run opening stand with Angkrish Raghuvanshi.
