
India-Pak hold brigade commanders-level meet to discuss peace at LoC

India and Pakistan held a brigade commanders-level meeting to discuss ways to ensure peace at the Line of Control.
A brigade commander-level meeting between India and Pakistan was held on Friday at one of the sectors along the Line of Control (LoC). The meeting was held to take forward the understanding reached between the two sides to abide by the 2003 ceasefire agreement last month. In a discussion between the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan last month, the two sides decided to implement the ceasefire agreement of 2003 to maintain peace at the borders. "After the DGMO understanding, a brigade commander-level flag meeting was held between Indian and Pakistan Army at Poonch Rawalkot Crossing Point on Mar 26 to discuss implementation mechanism as per the understanding," the Indian Army said.More Related News
