India in England: Shardul Thakur should bat at No 8 in Test, especially in SENA countries, says Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh has backed Shardul Thakur to bat at No 8 in the countries like Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa. The off-spinner believes that Shardul can fix India’s problem of finding a dependable all-rounder.

Shardul Thakur’s all-round show at the fourth Test against England at the Oval made him a toast of the nation. Although the Mumbai all-rounder didn’t get the man of the match award for his brilliant performance in the Test, he has gained a lot of plaudits from cricket fans and experts. Shardul scored half-centuries in both the innings and bagged three crucial wickets in the Test to help India take 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
