India fights Covid: Lancet lauds Odisha’s efforts in sending oxygen to states

The international medical journal Lancet praised Odisha's efforts in terms of preparedness, as well as its production and export of medical oxygen to other states.

As India grapples with a harrowing Covid-19 crisis, the Lancet has lauded Odisha for its preparedness and its production and export of medical oxygen to several states. In its editorial titled “India’s Covid-19 Emergency” published on May 8, the international medical journal said that Odisha was better prepared during the second wave of Covid-19 and could produce enough medical oxygen to export to other states.
