Indian and Chinese military commanders held talks today to avoid breach of airspace around the Line of Actual Control, sources have said. Senior Indian Air Force officers participated in the talks held in Ladakh, they said.
The talks focused on demarcating areas more clearly to avoid airspace violation and avoid potential breach of Indian airspace by Chinese military aircraft, the sources said.
The Line of Actual Control, or LAC, is not clearly defined in Ladakh region and it is difficult to determine when an actual airspace breach happens. India and China, too, have differing interpretations of the LAC.
