The Toyota Belta comes with the same design elements as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, while the interior is slightly tweaked with certain Toyota-specific elements.
Toyota Motor Corporation revealed the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz based Toyota Belta for its Middle East market, which will initially be launched in Egypt followed by other neighboring markets. The new Toyota Belta is essentially a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and will also come to India next year, as a replacement to the Toyota Yaris, which was recently discontinued from our market. The Toyota Belta comes with the same design elements as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, while the interior is slightly tweaked with Toyota elements.
The exterior design of the Toyota Belta is in fact exactly the same as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, on which it is based. They have the same front section and the same grille as the Ciaz. Even the headlamp unit shares the same design, as well as runs on the same set of alloy wheels. The rear section also remains the same. However, we expect Toyota to change the grille and offer a different set of wheels when it comes to India. We have seen similar changes in the Toyota Urban Cruiser as well, which is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and even with the rebadged Toyota Glanza, which was originally the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
