Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Wednesday hailed India's growing start-up ecosystem and said that the country added 10 "unicorns" in just 53 days.
Taking to Twitter, Piyush Goyal equated the facelift of India's start-up ecosystem with viral singer Bhuban Badyakar, who became an overnight sensation for his song 'Kacha Badam'.
"Another 'Kacha Badam' becomes 'Pakka'. India adds its Tenth Unicorn in just 53 days," Piyush Goyal tweeted, including a before and after picture of Bhuban Badyakar.

In business terms, a unicorn is a privately held start-up valued at over $1 billion.
