Shyam Saran Negi cast his vote at the model polling station of Kalpa in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. He was greeted outside the polling station by the deputy commissioner of Kinnaur and a red carpet was laid out by the district administration to welcome him. Traditional musical instruments were also played.
