One-off Test: Indian women were 83 for one at stumps after being forced to follow on by England on the rain-marred third day of the one-off Test in Bristol on Friday.
Shafali Verma and continuous rain frustrated England women's team after the hosts bowled out India for 231 in the first innings and enforced the follow-on on rain-marred Day 3 of the one-off Test in Bristol. Notably, Shafali Verma hit her 2nd consecutive fifty in her Test debut versus England Women. Shafali, who fell 4 runs short of a century on debut, played positively again and hit 10 fours before reaching her half-century in the 2nd innings. Verma (55 batting) once again looked in great touch as she only dealt in boundaries after her partner Smriti Mandhana (8) was dismissed by Katherine Brunt after she edged one at slips.
