IND vs AUS, 3rd T20I, Weather Forecast: Will rain play spoilsport in the last match of the series? India won the second match on Friday by six wickets to draw level in the series.
India and Australia are all set to cross swords in the last of the three T20Is on Sunday, September 25 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Earlier, Australia took 1-0 after winning the first T20I at PCA Stadium in Mohali on the back of decent knocks from Cameron Green and Matthew Wade, who averages nearly 60 in T20Is against the Men in Blue.
However, Rohit Sharma’s men drew level in the series after winning the rain-curtailed second T20I by six wickets at VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
India chased down 91 with four balls to spare. With nine runs to win in the last over, Dinesh Karthik hit Daniel Sams for a six followed by a four to seal the fate of the match.
Both teams have everything to play for going into the third and final game of the series. The venue in Hyderabad has hosted only one T20I thus far between West Indies and India way back in 2019.
As per Accuweather, there is a chance of rain at around 5pm in the evening. Hence, there is a chance that the decider may be delayed due to a wet outfield, as was the case a couple of days ago in Nagpur.
