In Pivotal Moment, Notre Dame Cathedral Spire Gets Golden Rooster Weathervane

A new rooster is prepared to be installed at the top of the spire of the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, which was ravaged by a fire in 2019 that sent its spire crumbling down, as restoration works continue in Paris, Dec. 16, 2023.
Notre Dame Cathedral got its rooster back Saturday, in a pivotal moment for the Paris landmark’s restoration.
