In a major seizure of foreign currency, the Central Industrial Security Force (CSIF) detected Rs 68.70 lakh or USD 93,600 at the Guwahati airport from a passenger.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) had detected a huge amount of foreign currency from an Imphal-bound passenger, who had been identified as Arbajuddin Male. This can be called one of the biggest seizures ever of foreign currency at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport in Borjhar, Guwahati. The passenger was carrying approximately USD 93,600 or Rs 68.70 lakh to Imphal. He came under suspicion during the baggage screening.More Related News
