
Impaired driving charges laid, victim identified in Tillsonburg, Ont., crash that left one man dead

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid criminal charges following a fatal crash in Tillsonburg, Ont., on Tuesday evening which killed 26-year-old Wyatt Chambers of Tillsonburg.
A police investigation found that Chambers was thrown from a vehicle and then was struck by it. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Oxford County OPP received a call for the collision on Lisgar Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. and the road was closed until 1:30 a.m. the next morning while officers investigated the scene.
Police have charged a 24-year-old man from Langton, Ont., with dangerous and impaired driving causing death.
Police said that the accused initially left the scene, but then came back and was taken into custody.
He remains in custody and is awaiting bail.
