
Impaired driving charges laid, victim ID'd in Tillsonburg, Ont., crash that left man dead

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid criminal charges following a fatal crash in Tillsonburg on Tuesday evening that left local 26-year-old Wyatt Chambers dead.
A police investigation found Chambers was thrown from a vehicle and then struck by it. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Oxford County OPP received a call about the incident on Lisgar Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. ET and the road was closed until 1:30 a.m. the next morning while officers investigated.
Police have charged a 24-year-old man from Langton, Ont., with dangerous and impaired driving causing death.
They said the accused initially left the scene, but returned and was taken into custody.
He remains in custody and is awaiting bail.
