Immediately dismiss Satyendar Jain, demands Delhi Congress a day after ED action

The Delhi Congress has sought Satyendar Jain's immediate dismissal a day after the Enforcement Directorate attached assets belonging to the minister's relatives.
Delhi Cabinet minister Satyendar Jain should be immediately dismissed by the Aam Adami Party government, the Congress’ city unit demanded, citing the Enforcement Directorate's action against the minister.
“The Aam Adami Party chief has repeatedly claimed that it is the most honest party and that it will take the strictest action against those who have been found to have indulged in corruption. However, when it comes to their own minister, they turn a blind eye. Why is (Satyendar) Jain still in the Cabinet when the ED has attached the property of his relative? Why is Kejriwal silent over the issue?" asked Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) chief Chaudhary Anil Kumar.

The Delhi Congress has also planned to stage protests at various places in the national capital demanding Jain's dismissal. The party chief lambasted the AAP for failing to keep any of the promises they made in their manifestos.
“If there's one person who has repeatedly refused to fulfill his promises, it's Arvind Kejriwal. If the party really claims to be honest, then not only Jain but all other tainted MLAs should be sacked as soon as possible,” said Kumar.
On Tuesday, assets worth Rs 481 crore, linked to Satyendar Jain’s family, were attached by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case, officials said. According to ED officials, the attachment was made in a disproportionate assets case.
