Immanuel Quickley looks completely different in second point guard chance
NY Post
LAS VEGAS — After a brutal shooting performance in Sunday’s summer-league opener, Immanuel Quickley responded with panache, scoring 32 points with eight assists as the Knicks beat the Pacers, 94-86, at UNLV on Monday.
Quickley started at point guard a second straight game and looked a lot more comfortable than in Sunday’s summer-league opener when he shot 5-of-17 overall and 2-of-11 from 3. The Second-Team All-Rookie drilled 4-of-12 3-pointers and finished 11-of-21 overall. Obi Toppin, the 2020 first-round pick, scored 21 points in a productive performance. Neither Quickley nor Toppin had the benefit of Summer League last season after being drafted in November because of the pandemic.More Related News

The preferred path to follow remains in place: Select a quarterback with the No. 3 pick in the draft. That is what the Giants hope will happen. When it comes to identifying and securing a franchise-saving player, though, hope is not a good thing, maybe the worst of things — with apologies to Andy Dufresne.
