IMD issues yellow warning, heavy rain likely in Bengaluru tomorrow

The IMD has issued a yellow warning for Bengaluru as the city is likely to receive heavy rainfall on Friday.

A yellow warning has been has been issued by the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Bengaluru centre for the city on Friday. This comes as the depression in the Bay of Bengal is expected to make landfall between the southern part of Andhra Pradesh’s coast and the northern part of Tamil Nadu’s coast on Thursday.

Under a yellow warning, people should remain alert and stay prepared as the weather conditions could deteriorate.
