
Illegal arms factory in UP’s Aligarh busted by special task force, six held

The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police busted a factory manufacturing revolvers and pistols and recovered a huge cache of arms and cartridges. Six accused were also arrested.
The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police busted a factory manufacturing revolvers and pistols and recovered a huge cache of arms and cartridges.
Furthermore, six people, identified as Shaharz, Anjum, Shahid, Dharamvir Singh, Anoop Kumar and Bhure of Kayamganj, were also arrested.
The STF recovered 19 revolvers of 32 bore and semi-finished revolvers of 315 bore from their possession. The accused used to smuggle arms in large quantities in several areas of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR.
The police have also recovered equipment used in making firearms from this gang.
The officials are searching for the rest of the accused associated with the gang.
